Built in Lahore, by people who sign their work.

Raavo takes its name from the Raavi, the river Lahore grew up beside. Like the city, our furniture is made to stay. It is one of the few things a family buys expecting it to outlast them.

We work with a single workshop in Lahore, run by karigars who learned the trade the old way. We handle design, customer care and delivery; they build. Every order is cut fresh for you, nothing is mass-produced and nothing sits in a warehouse.

That is also why we ask for an advance: it buys the wood for your piece and books your place on the workshop floor.

From plank to your home.

  1. Sawdust in the light as a karigar cuts a plank
    01

    Seasoned wood

Kikar arrives as rough planks and are left to settle before anything is cut. Wood that is cut too fresh shrinks and cracks within a year.

  2. A pencil marking a line along a wooden board
    02

    Marked by hand

Every joint is measured and marked against your order sheet: your sizes, not a catalogue size.

  3. Close-up of a tight wooden table joint
    03

    Joined properly

Mortise-and-tenon for frames, dovetails for drawers, glued and clamped overnight. No particle board and no cam-lock fittings in our solid pieces.

  4. A karigar working a board with a hand plane
    04

    Finished in layers

Sanded through four grits, then stained and lacquered in thin coats, rubbed back between each one. That is what makes the surface feel soft.

What we promise.

  • The wood you pay for. Every visible and structural part is solid Kikar.
  • Photos while we build. We send progress pictures on WhatsApp so you can see your piece take shape.
  • You check it before you pay the balance. Our team assembles it at your home; the balance is due only once you are happy.
